Lessons...

The old guys are learning some lessons.

First, there is the Cassio Parents at the car rental place. They apparently did not show enough respect to the youth pastor this year, because they are “blessed” (I call it punished) with a Kia Sedona and Mazda MPV while the youth pastor is driving a Toyota Sedonna (new one)…all for the same price and all completely unplanned. How does that work. Maybe God is honoring the NIV user over the NASB users. Maybe it is luck… Andy thinks it is Ps. 37:4. Maybe it is a humility lesson.

Then, there is Rick Seaton, the Team Scout and Brain, who told the van passengers numerous times as we crossed the border that the key to getting through Tijuana is to stay in the center lane…his conviction and confidence was solid as a rock… If some Christians were as sure in the faith in Christ, the world would be evangelized. But, we quickly got lost numerous times. A lesson is humility.

Then, there is Andy. He has an unspoken rule that if he is able to drive, he drives. But, then, Heath, his co-driver (supposed to be just the back-up…someone pass the memo) jumped in the drivers seat and would not get out. Andy was crammed in a back seat next to a bunch of environmentalist socialists. He has now been learning humility.
